Companies sometimes make mistakes! Well, Global Coffee Retailer discovered some of its coffee beans being sold to a company well-known for its bad services and products. You might be thinking why would a company do business with someone like this? Money and saving time can all contribute to the impact on why a company would do such thing knowing the profit loss it can cause to farmers and stockholders. To fix the error, Global Coffee Retailer will be working directly with the employees of Fair Trade Certified. This statement is to let companies know it is not okay to conduct business that have a bad reputation of selling non-organic beans in the fair trade market. What led to this feeling is being the victim of buying coffee beans from a company who intentionally practices wrongdoing. The Fair Trade USA offers some tips on fair trade practices.
- Donate to improve farmer’s community
- Be fair in giving farmers fair trade value for product and services
